Digital Services Act

DSA information for Werkido users

This page describes how Werkido.com carries out the processes arising from the EU Digital Services Act (DSA) to the extent appropriate for a platform covering offers of services and collaboration, job offers, profiles, reviews and user messages. The document is operational and transparent in nature: it describes the current contact channels, reporting, moderation, ranking and the basic rights of users.

Section 01

Scope of application of the DSA to Werkido

Werkido allows users to publish content, offers of services and collaboration and job offers, create profiles, post reviews and exchange messages within the platform. For this reason, obligations relating to transparency, contact, responding to reports and content moderation apply to selected functions of the service.

This page does not replace the full text of the DSA Regulation, but describes the practical rules that apply to Werkido users and the contact channels for illegal content, violations and appeals.

Section 02

Contact points for users and authorities

The public electronic contact point for users, reports concerning content, legal matters and communication related to the DSA is info@werkido.com.

The same address may also be used to communicate with the competent authorities, unless the law requires another dedicated channel for a given type of request or proceeding.

Section 03

Reporting illegal content or content that breaches the rules

The "Report" button is available on a service listing, a job offer and in a conversation, and using it requires the user to be logged in. Profile content, reviews and other content may be reported by e-mail to info@werkido.com; this channel is also available to people who are not logged in.

After a report is submitted with the "Report" button, the acknowledgement of receipt and case number are displayed in the application. E-mail or notifications, if sent, are supplementary channels and are not guaranteed. A report indicating that content may be illegal or requesting a reply may result in a linked help centre ticket being created.

A report should clearly identify:

  • the content and where it can be found, in particular by providing a link or identifier for the listing, job offer, profile, review or message;
  • the reason for the report and the relevant circumstances and, where illegality is alleged, the grounds for considering the content illegal or unlawful;
  • contact details enabling Werkido to contact the reporter, unless the law permits them to be omitted in the particular case;
  • a statement made in good faith that the information provided is accurate and complete.

Werkido may assess the report, take temporary or permanent action and request additional information necessary for verification.

Section 04

Content moderation and platform decisions

Moderation may combine automated analysis, including artificial intelligence tools, with human review. Automation supports risk detection and case prioritisation, but it can make mistakes. Depending on the outcome of the process, Werkido may:

  • approve content for publication;
  • refer content or a case to a manual review queue;
  • reject or archive content;
  • request that content be edited, supplemented or clarified;
  • block publication or content, restrict selected functions, or suspend or block an account.

The decision and the reasons for it are communicated through an available channel to the extent required by law and technically possible for the relevant process.

Section 05

Appeals and challenging decisions

A user affected by a decision concerning their content, functions or account may submit an appeal or request a new review through the linked help centre ticket, if one was created, or by e-mail to info@werkido.com.

The appeal should state:

  • which decision or case the appeal concerns;
  • why the user considers the decision incorrect or disproportionate;
  • what additional information, documents and contextual circumstances support the user’s position.

The new review takes into account the available context of the case, the content of the appeal and the materials provided. Using the internal channel does not exclude rights arising from the law, including the possibility of pursuing claims or lodging a complaint with the competent authorities.

Section 06

Abuse, security and repeated violations

Werkido may restrict or withdraw access to certain functions for users who repeatedly:

  • publish unlawful or manifestly misleading content;
  • submit manifestly unfounded reports or abuse the reporting mechanisms;
  • circumvent blocks, use the platform for fraud or breach the security of other users.

These measures are applied taking into account the scale of the violation, the history of earlier actions and the security requirements of the platform.

Section 07

Transparency and further documents

The order and visibility of offers and other results may be affected by relevance to the query, location, recency, and paid promotion or plan benefits. Paid promotion that increases visibility does not constitute a recommendation by Werkido.

The rules on moderation, responsibility for content and the conditions of using the platform should be read together with the Terms and conditions and the Privacy policy.

The reporting and appeal channels described above are currently available. Transparency reports and other information required by the DSA will be published where such an obligation follows from the scale of the service or its classification.
