Section 01

General provisions

Werkido.com is the brand of an online platform that connects clients, contractors, companies, employers, candidates and other users who publish service listings, job offers, announcements and content related to delivering services and to recruitment on the Dutch market.

The operator of the brand and owner of the application is BloomPixel.studio, which bills its business under KVK number 42015468 and VAT number NL005433877B58. The public contact for matters concerning the platform is info@werkido.com.

These terms apply to the use of the werkido.com domain and all platform functions available publicly or after logging in, unless separate conditions are stated for a given function.

Section 02

Role of the platform and scope of services

Werkido operates as a marketplace platform and a communication and organisation layer. Among other things, it allows you to:

  • create user accounts and contractor profiles;
  • publish service listings, job offers, announcements and entries related to the user’s activity;
  • search for service listings and job offers and contact other users;
  • publish reviews and ratings;
  • use paid plans and content promotion features.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Werkido is not a party to the contract for the performance of a service concluded between a client and a contractor. The users entering into a given relationship are directly responsible for the scope, price, deadline, quality, legality and result of the service.

Section 03

User accounts and registration obligations

Creating an account requires providing true and up-to-date data. The user is responsible for the security of their login details, for keeping their profile data up to date and for the legality of actions performed from the account.

  • you must not impersonate other persons or entities;
  • you must not use the account for unlawful, fraudulent or misleading activities;
  • the user should report unauthorised access or a security breach without delay;
  • an account may be restricted, suspended or deleted in the event of a breach of the terms, the law, the security of the platform or the rights of others.
Section 04

User content, reviews and communication

The user remains responsible for the content they publish, send or share through Werkido, including service descriptions, photos, messages, contact details, reviews and materials submitted for verification.

It is prohibited to publish content that is:

  • unlawful, or infringing the rights of third parties or personal rights;
  • misleading as to the qualifications, price, availability or status of the contractor;
  • infringing copyright, trademark rights or trade secrets;
  • containing spam, malware, phishing, manipulation of reviews or artificial inflation of reputation;
  • offensive, discriminatory or promoting violence.

Werkido may apply content moderation, review reports, limit visibility, block accounts and take follow-up action arising from legal provisions and from the rules also described on the DSA page.

Section 05

Payments, plans and paid features

Some Werkido features may be paid, in particular subscription plans, listing promotions or other premium features made available in the platform interface.

  • prices, billing periods and the scope of the service are shown before purchase;
  • payments are handled through the payment provider Stripe;
  • the user is responsible for the accuracy of the billing data and for being entitled to use the chosen payment method;
  • if a service is not paid for, or in the event of a chargeback, abuse or a breach of the law, Werkido may restrict access to paid features.

If the detailed conditions of a plan or promotion set out separate rules, they take precedence over the general provisions of these terms for the specific paid service.

Section 06

Liability and limitations

Werkido exercises due care regarding the availability of the platform, technical security, moderation and product development, but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the absence of errors, delays or maintenance interruptions.

To the extent permitted by Dutch law, the operator’s liability is limited to direct damage resulting from a culpable breach of the operator’s obligations towards the user. Liability for lost profits, indirect business losses and the consequences of the actions of other users is excluded, unless mandatory provisions of law provide otherwise.

No provision of these terms excludes consumer rights or obligations that cannot be limited under the governing law.

Section 07

Suspension, changes to the terms and contact

Werkido may update the terms in the event of changes to the product, the law, payment processes, security requirements or public-law obligations. The current version is published on this page with the date of the last update.

For matters concerning the terms, legal notices, claims, complaints about the operation of the platform or questions about legal documents, please contact info@werkido.com.

These terms are governed by Dutch law. This does not restrict the mandatory rights of consumers arising from the governing law. The rules on data processing are described in the separate Privacy policy.
